Today I am grateful...
- to have slept late this morning, waking occasionally to listen to the rain
- that Bunny, bless his heart, finally peed and poopied in the rain. It took six trips outside on the leash for that to happen. I, meanwhile, was breakfast for the mosquito population.
- to watch someone struggling do the next right thing and succeed
- that Boston is coming up on ten months
- for prayer time, air conditioning and coffee
- for another day of sober history
We can make ourselves feel good. We can walk away. We can come back on our terms. We can stand up for ourselves. We can refuse to let others control and manipulate us. We can do what we need to do to take care of our selves. That is the beauty, the reward, the crown of victory we are given in this process called recovery. It is what it is all about! ~The Language of Letting Go

Maybe you should wear Picante Sauce. I hear that mossies don't like that.
Maybe the Dog Whisperer can help little Bunny. He is brilliant!
I love sleeping with the sound of the rain outside. I'm jealous.
oh I love the sound of rain...
that last quite is awesome
and I think you are cute too :)
Another day of sober history... I love it.
What a great list. I can so relate to being eatin alive because of the pooch. My lil guy is actually good with this it is my big girl bulldog who really is the priss.
I love that first quote, and I've debated that point. Folks are still ignorant about being gay. They think it's something you can "shake off" if you try hard enough. If it were that easy, so many lives would not have been lost b/c society is ignorant.
I too am a feast for mosquitos. I've tried B-12 or B-6 and that seemed to help.
And, ditto on the Dog Whisperer that dude is a genuis.
