IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Achievers concern themselves with excellence, but do not obsess over perfection. Things get done by doing them in the real world, not by putting them off until conditions are perfect.
In the time you spend worrying about whether or not to do something, it could have been done. In the time you spend worrying about whether it's the perfect time to get going, you could already be far ahead. ~Ralph Marston

Today I am grateful...
  • that it's hard to serve the masters of resentment and gratitude at the same time
  • for a Sunday of a meeting, breakfast, bookkeeping, The DaVinci Code, a nap, dinner and some TV that included Pink Flamingos
  • that we were not disappointed in The DaVinci Code. It was true to the book, Dan Brown painted such vivid pictures and the movie looked just like it did in my mind's eye when I read it. I rarely see a movie at the theatre, it's nice to have no complaints.
  • that Bunny thinks he is big and ferocious like a real guard dog
  • that today I am grounded in a program of recovery
  • that Mary Catherine turns 22 today!

We use false fronts to hide our true personality, to disguise our lack of self-esteem. These masks hide us from others and also from our own true selves. By living a lie, we are saying that we cannot live with the truth about ourselves. The more we hide our real selves, the more we damage our self-esteem. ~NA Just for Today

I like your first gratitude the most and I've never heard that before. We can't serve the master of gratitude and the master of resentment at the same time.

that rocks!
