- for an unexpected work opportunity yesterday
- that Jim and I are finally going to see "The DaVinci Code" today
- that Tim Gunn blogs
- for bar-b-que dinner with dAAve, Matt, Rodney and Zane. We sat outside with the masses on big picnic tables underneath ceiling fans blowing at top speeds while listening to loud country music. It was great fun.
- to see Janet before the meeting, she celebrated ONE YEAR yesterday!
- that Chase keeps coming back
- to sit with Matt during the speaker meeting, on the back row (that's the only time I sit in the back, it's where I can hear the best in the big room) and I got to see the back of dAAve's head the whole time. Plus we got to hear from a young man with 18 years of sobriety (he got sober at 17!!!)
We often let others do our seeing for us. We get lazy and rely on the images of television and movies, instead of really seeing with our own eyes. Our world becomes distorted and we lose sight of the natural beauty that surrounds us. Each of us carries reality inside ourselves, and as we grow stronger within, we discover that we can see clearest when we trust our own eyes. There is a glorious world, full and rich, just waiting for us to glimpse it. Will I see the world through my own eyes today? ~Today's Gift

Glad I could give you some head (to look at).
Oh Dave!!!!!!
Scott, I was thinking much the same thing today as I gazed up at the clouds. I love to see things for real, like the sky, the wrinkles on someone's face, a child with ice cream smears around their mouth, a dog running, graffiti. Those things are best seen up close and personal, ya know!? I like seeing AA people for myself, at meetings, right after a hug.
David, you always say that.
Tim Gunn is s stud. I watched a taped episode last night.
I still haven't seen the DaVinci Code.
Oh La La, dAAve's sexy head . . .
FREAKIN A - seeing with our own eyes, heart and souls is a awesome gift
