IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.~Joseph Campbell

Today I am grateful...
  • that I choose not to watch Matt Lauer's exclusive interview with Britney Spears. In fact, I am protesting all celebrity news because I simply DO NOT CARE.
  • for a more than full work day yesterday, even though it was 100° outside
  • that there are some things I will never know or understand
  • that Blogger keeps hanging on despite growing daily problems
  • that Blogger is a free service that allows me to stay in touch
  • to have met two of the biggest PFLAG supporters yesterday
  • for PFLAG's message to the president: You are using the full prestige and weight of your office to advocate for an amendment to the United States Constitution that, for the first time since the abolition of slavery, seeks for all time to perpetuate discrimination against a class of citizens. We fail to understand why perpetuating the oppression of our family members should be a national priority.

Our failures keep us humble; they remind us of our need for the care and guidance of others. And for every hope dashed, we can remember, one will be realized. ~Each Day a New Beginning

I'm with you, protesting Hollywood gossip. Who cares? I don't want to hear gossip about people I know, why would it be ok to gossip about people I don't know. I'm not that bored yet. : )

Great quote too!

I saw that ad for Matt Lauer's show a;sp and Brit was crying. I will not be watching it either. Altho, I am one of those that reads People magazine. I like the pictures!

Kind of like the excuse about Playboy but reversed, "I like the articles, I don't look at the pictures"..

Thanks for reminding me that Blogger is indeed free and how can I complain about FREE? Cos I'm a bitch.

Did you hear about Paris Hilton?
huh? huh?

I really like that quote by PLFAG. Very concise and to the point. I would love to hear any of those who support that amendment defend against that statement.

I'll give you an A- today. Maybe a bit harsh, but this ain't Kansas anymore.

Shannon, I guess you won't be bored because we have a glut of such fodder.

Dave, I have seen Paris Hilton giving a blow job, I think that is quite enough.

I didn't watch it because I don't care either. Hey, no one is doing a friggin' news story on me and my problems.
I see you,
JJ

If we all stayed away from celebrity news the world would be a better place.

By the way, we have civil union, here in CT. CT was the first state to do it without an impending law suit(like Mass).

The only info I get is when waiting in line at the grocery store. I am an HBO and Law & Order junky. Other than movies that is all I watch these dayzz.

Love the reading~ I continually fail and keep on trying and boy it truly is humbling ;)
