People talk about an invisible line that you cross and become an alcoholic. Some of us were born on the other side of that line. - Danny T.

Today I am grateful...
  • that to hear with I need I only have to listen
  • for a powerful meeting about fear, and the newcomer that shared his fears about his immediate future
  • that I was able to trade my fears for the 'WE' of the program. That chased away a lot of my fears because I did not have to do it alone, ever again.
  • that a friend in pain and fear could reach out
  • for my new sobriety counter. Today I have 2 years, 6 months and 19 days.
  • that dAAve and I will meet up with Greg for a meeting or two in New York. We met Greg when he was here while his mother was in the hospital.
Feelings are visitors, they don't come to stay. ~Patricia

We need special people in our lives so that we can travel the path of recovery. The special people are easy to find, they are right in front of you. They are called “winners.” ~Pocket Sponsor

I was born on the other side of that line too. I'm glad some one told me early on to 'hang with the winners' : )
