Today I am grateful...
- that I did not have a problem with the "God thing" when I entered the rooms
- that tomorrow is the Kentucky Derby and I will not be having a mint julep
- that I am just as comfortable in a fine dining establishment (last night, DaMarco's) as I am at a fast food joint
- for the recognition that the biggest struggle I have is within my own mind
- for steps 3 and 11 that allow me to diffuse that biggest struggle a bit at a time
- for 899 days of recovery from John Barleycorn
Water can inspire us to not become rigid with fear or cling to what's familiar. Water is brave and does not waste time clinging to its past, but flows onward without looking back. At the same time, when there is a hole to be filled, water does not run away from it in fear of the dark; instead, water humbly and bravely fills the empty space. In the same way, we can face the dark moments of our life rather than run away from them. ~DailyOm

Ohhh the water thingy I just love. I am a water sign and have always loved water. I sooooo want to be like that water!
That's funny that you mention not having a problem with the "God thing"...I was just thinking the same thing myself recently.
The water thing is cool.
I had a problem with the God thing, but not anymore.
This has been a difficult week, so I am grateful to have a job and that I can earn some good money today. I am also grateful that I can show up on time, and get my work done, even though this was an ultra busy week.
Thanks for the gratitude list.
