Today I am grateful...
- for the new online meeting place, Sobriety Society
- that I could sit here this morning from 2:30 - 3:30 with a queasy stomach and not obsess that it came from alcohol
- for air conditioning when I am feeling feverish
- that I can start my day over at any time, and that is exactly what I am about to do--lie down, nap and start over
In working the steps, my life changed. I think differently today; I feel different today. I am new. We have a sign at the A.A. meetings I go to that says, 'Expect a Miracle.' My sobriety is full of miracles... I am no longer spiritually bankrupt. It's as if I have a magic source in my life that has provided me with all that I need...When I came to A.A., I didn't know who I was. My sponsor said, "Great - if you don't know who you are, you can become whomever God wants you to be." ~Alcoholics Anonymous, pgs. 380-381

are you still napping?
No, I am awake now.
that is a fantastic quote! I don't think I've seen that one before. I hope you get some rest, feel better and get your day started over.
dave needs to chill on the coffee intake. very nice quote.
I hope you feel better big guy.
wow! expect Miracles, thats cool you said that, I read that this morning from my email from my hubby, and I posted to my blog, and now reading it on your blog... hmmm think God is trying to tell us something???? I am sure he is
thanks Scott
That word "different." It is key.
In sobriety we all get to take care of our bodies versus running them into the ground. Feel better, lots of love to yourself.
A/C...are you kidding me. It is hot enough to use the A/C....damn I'm jealous.
I see you,
JJ
I love naps, I try and take them often. We are using our AC too.
