IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

You have to leave the city of your comfort and go unto the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover will be yourself.--Alan Alda

Today I am grateful...
  • for the time Bunny and I spent outside this weekend
  • that today I do not have to engage in feelings of low self worth
  • that today I will succeed at staying sober
  • that I can be reflective without being morose
  • that I could, if I wanted to, meet singles and solve debt the Christian way, but I won’t open those emails
  • that the power of choice is a gift from God
Faith may be falling on your knees, but it is more likely to be standing firm or walking on. It may be waiting. It may be working. It may be daring to step out on uneasy waters. It may be just daring to step out. --James Dillet Freeman

If you feel the need to loan some money to a respectable lady from Nigeria who has lost her rich husband and can repay you 100 times the amount you loan her, just let me know.

Surrender in order to win the battle. It is nice not to give all that power to each individual alcoholic. In the old days, we think that would be grand! Funny how we use to be. God is beautiful and your posts always helps me remember.

I agree very strongly that the power of choice is a gift from God. So true, so true. Now if I could just stop eating chocolate....
