Today I am grateful...
- for Trudge's sixteenth birthday
- for the recovery blogging community. You guys and gals inspire me.
- for Bob R who shared his light with us yesterday as he told his story of rising above incomprehensible demoralization
- that since Bunny and I get up much too early these days, I have had to restructure my morning routine. My meditations aren't posted that early, so today while I was sitting outside with my coffee, and Bunny was playing and pooping, I said my morning prayers. And I included you.
- that some of my framed rug designs will be hanging in the Harborwalk sales office. We have six custom rugs in one of the show houses.
We see God in the eyes of fellow recovering alcoholics. ~Bob R (paraphrased)
We have not once sought to be one in a family, to be a friend among friends, to be a worker among workers, to be a useful member of society. Always we tried to struggle to the top of the heap, or to hide underneath it. This self-centered behavior blocked a partnership relation with any one of those about us. Of true brotherhood we had small comprehension. ~12 & 12, p. 53

Praying while playing and pooping is substantially better than vehemently vomitting while being violent.
That's a nice website for Harbourwalk.
