Today I am grateful...
- for voicemail from and a returned call to Courtney
- for those who try daily to maintain sobriety and those who don't make it in today
- that if I have a problem there will be someone at Lambda with an answer
- to miss Chester this morning and the memories of the almost sixteen years we had together
- that I do not dread Monday's any longer

The freedom we find to choose an HP of our own understanding is one of the most important concepts in AA for me. I had such a poor relationship and understanding of my HP when I got here. If someone would have forced religion or some sort of belief system down my throat, I would not have stuck around, I know that for sure. So, I am grateful for the freedom to get to know an HP of my understanding!
These things are so important now, during your child-bearing years.
Many times I would see the success of others and compare myself. I had to be better in order to achieve self worth. Sometimes I am guilty of this but am aware through program, and my HP. In addition, the message is given to me as you have posted here.

LOL I am not dreading this Monday, I do have to admit, its the firt Monday I have not dreaded in quite a while... LOL
