Today I am grateful...
- that when I surrendered the fight I was no longer afraid. That was the moment I began to truly live.
- for a trip to Tiki Island yesterday
- that New Orleans is coming back to life
- for the unswerving hand of AA. I often get to see how far it reaches, with compassion, to grab a lost soul or support one that is floundering.
- that I get to see real miracles happen
- that tomorrow Boston has five months
