Today I am grateful...

• that I called Reliant Energy about my current electric bill. The bill amount for 30 of the mildest days any January ever saw was $144! That is for 500 square feet and during that time rarely, if ever, used the heat or the air conditioner. The customer service rep had me take a self reading, calculated it and said that reading was lower than the reading the meter reader took. So they are going to do a 're-read'. But in the meantime I have to pay the entire amount. gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
• that tonight I am going to attend the Lambda Beginners AlAnon meeting. I need to make sure I am taking care of myself as I have a loved one likely headed for an emotional bottom.
• that today is Mary's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAME!!!!!
• for yesterday's great first step meeting. Who cannot benefit from remembering what it was like?
• that today I am a day older but I am not deeper in debt
