If you can look back on your life with contentment, you have one of man's most precious gifts -- a selective memory. ~Jim Fiebig

Today I am grateful...
  • for Brian's lead in the 'sobriety first?' meeting yesterday
  • for today's meditation: carry the message, not the addict
  • that Dave has a cell phone so he can locate movers
  • that there is no substitute for contentment these days
  • that my Higher Power alone knows my needs and sustains me
  • that I got my links updated, finally
What makes us discontented with our condition is the absurdly exaggerated idea we have of the happiness of others. ~French Proverb

That French quote is so very true.

I am happy to see you have posted the serenity prayer, Scott.

Sometimes, I say that prayer 50 times per day.

Have a good day, my friend.
