It is easy to dodge our responsibilities, but we cannot dodge the consequences of dodging our responsibilities. --Josiah Stamp

Today I am grateful...
  • that there has never been a reason for me to have appeared on the national news
  • that I was able to realize last night that I was getting overwhelmed with a phone call, an IM chat, trying to figure out an internet program for producing a business card and trying to watch 'Project Runway' all at once
  • that 'Project Runway' repeats so I will be able to catch the whole episode later
  • to have read " The spiritual part of our disease is our total self-centeredness." OUCH!
  • to have heard another's story yesterday--with double digit sobriety you can hit an emotional bottom as hard as you hit your addiction bottom, and that there is a solution
  • that I get OUT of a day what I put INTO a day

I was amazed to learn that the root of my problem was that I am selfish and self-centered. Now I can begin to reach the right solution!

Whatdija think about PR last night? Pretty edgy stuff!

Zulema can't manage her time, that's a big part of this show...so she had to be axed. She is also a bit too arrogant for my tastes. She thought the others were acting like they were in kindergarten, when in actuality she was excluding herself.
