Today I am grateful...
- that when we spend enough time in the rooms of AA you begin to see miracles spring up all around us
- for the two sweet potatoes on the sidewalk in front of Lambda yesterday
- for more common ground with JP
- that although my vision gets cloudy, I strive to do the next right thing
- for all the Michaels and Davids, and Michelanglo's David
- for those who come, those who stay and those who go away
I believe that complete surrender of my life to God is the foundation of serenity. God has prepared for us many mansions. I do not look upon that promise as referring only to the after-life. I do not look upon this life as something to be struggled through, in order to get the rewards of the next life. I believe that the Kingdom ofGod is within us and we can enjoy "eternal life" here and now. ~Twenty-Four Hours a Day
