Today I am grateful...
- that even though I woke with my ear and nose stopped up--I woke up sober
- that I would not trade my sobriety for anything
- to have seen a small painting I did framed in such a beautiful manner
- that some people get true enjoyment from the things I create
- that I and my schedule are flexible enough that I could work yesterday at home
- that I was finally satisfied with the colors I mixed yesterday, creating color is a challenge for me
- that my Higher Power has carried me through many tough times and deposited me on the other shore in one piece
- that today I choose life
...if you repeat a thought, or say a word, over and over again—not once, not twice, but dozens, hundreds, thousands of times—do you have any idea of the creative power of that? JJ, It is hanging in a friend's house and I don't have a picture of it to show. Maybe if I have my camera next time I am there.
