Chester angel Christmas ornament give to me by Chase.
Today I am grateful...
- for life in the continuous moment
- that while answering the phones yesterday at Lambda I had the pleasure to speak for an hour with a young man that is having a hard time staying sober, that took me back to my first try at the program and how far I have come
- for Christmas dinner with loved ones; prime rib with horseradish sauce, Yorkshire pudding, creamed peas and onions and trifle for dessert
- for the gifts my Higher Power gives me everyday, especially the gifts I don't recognize
- that occasionally I may lose sight of my attitude of gratitude, but it is never further than a thought away
- that I have been willing to maintain this list, it's like hoeing the weeds
- for prayers for Norris and Chase who are recovering from surgery

I am soo envious of you, spending time doing service work... awesome...
"Teacher says every time you hear a bell ring an angel gets his wings"
Bells rang that day in early October for your Chester and now he romps and barks and plays w/o a care in the world.
