When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be. --unknown

Today I am grateful...
  • for Texas winter weather
  • that I will not be involved in the day after Christmas shopping
  • for Christmas day visits
  • for early morning chilly stoop visits with Mary and Lucy
  • that sobriety gives me a greater sense of non-judgment
  • that I am able to monitor closer those thoughts of wanting/needing to gossip
  • that more than likely I won't hear any Christmas music until next year

The deception of others is nearly always rooted in the deception of ourselves.--Bill Wilson

Waking up sober after a holiday is definitely something to be enternally grateful for these days.

I have fallen into the gossip trap many, many times. It is a hard one. Good for you for recognizing it.
