Today I am grateful...
- for Texas winter weather
- that I will not be involved in the day after Christmas shopping
- for Christmas day visits
- for early morning chilly stoop visits with Mary and Lucy
- that sobriety gives me a greater sense of non-judgment
- that I am able to monitor closer those thoughts of wanting/needing to gossip
- that more than likely I won't hear any Christmas music until next year

Waking up sober after a holiday is definitely something to be enternally grateful for these days.

I have fallen into the gossip trap many, many times. It is a hard one. Good for you for recognizing it.
