IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

I want what I want and I want it delivered. -overheard in a meeting

Today I am grateful...
  • to be sober, physically and emotionally. It almost makes me physically ill to think how I would feel this morning, back in those old drinking days.
  • for Nell's annual Christmas party
  • for service work done through the F'ers
  • to feel a part of more than apart from
  • that I am not a part of the bylaws revision committee
  • for the time each morning to do these lists

Sooner or later we all discover that the important moments in life are not the advertised ones, not the birthdays, the graduations, the weddings, not the great goals achieved. The real milestones are less prepossessing. They come to the door of memory unannounced, stray dogs that amble in, sniff around a bit and simply never leave. Our lives are measured by these- Susan B. Anthony

I am inluv w recovery and the people that help me -- putting what I feel out into the air. For once in my life I realize I am not alone in my thinking.

Have a happy Monday!

Yeah... it's a real blessing to NOT be a part of the committee. We may just actually get it right this time... OR ELSE! (jk) . . . Thank you for your service work, Scott. PEACE.
