Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much. --Helen Keller

Today I am grateful...
  • that Attitude of Gratitude is one year old (see post below)
  • for the past year's experiences and growth
  • that I made it through tenuous financial times, bankruptcy, Edie's death, stopping smoking and the loss of my little Chester. I came out the other side stronger, clearer of purpose and extremely grateful.
  • that recovery invades my dreams more and more
  • that I will stay sober for the next 24 hours
Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step. --Martin Luther King Jr.

When brimming with gratitude, one's heartbeat must surely result in outgoing love, the finest emotion that we can never know. --Bill Wilson, Grapevine, March 1962

As your life has changed the past year, so has your attitude and your gratitude. It is very obvious to this observer. And for that, I am grateful.
