IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

If we wait for perfection before enjoying life, we will never enjoy life. --unknown

Today I am grateful...
  • to have spent four hours with David S hanging pictures, running around and laughing
  • that what I want and what I have pretty much balance out today
  • to have found a path of least resistance
  • that I remain a non-smoker
  • that today I will not struggle with my mind, I will let things be as they will
  • that last night when I was speaking with Sonny he referred to Miss Thing and what she said, and I asked him who he meant. He meant Bill Wilson. I about died laughing.

Gratitude is one of the sweet shortcuts to finding peace of mind and happiness inside. No matter what's going on outside of us, there's always something we could be grateful for. --Barry Neil Kaufman

Bro,
I am so proud of you for stopping smoking. I'm still smoking away.
I see you,
JJ

"No matter what's going on outside of us, there's always something we could be grateful for"......that reminds me of what our Mom used to say. "No matter how bad it gets for us, there is always someone that is worse off". That had gotten me through so many rough times in my life. Thanks Mom.

Surrender in the "Battle of My Mind," is key for me.

The key for me would be to not struggle with my mind...so hard to do. Thanks for a great list
