IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

12.03.05

The stillness of God speaks louder than a choir of voices.

Today I am grateful...
  • to share as a part of the recovery blog community, it just keeps growing and growing
  • that to my knowledge I do not sleepwalk or suffer from sexomnia (it's a real phenomenon)
  • for the excellent food and company last night at Cafe Montrose, and even the surly service that turned pleasant
  • that I was able to take my foot off my throat and let the connection between my mind and heart begin to change
  • for the sharing of experience, strength and hope at yesterday's nooner fueled by laughter
  • that obsessions can be truly lifted

Right now, in this moment, your soul has again created opportunity for you to be, do, and have what it takes to know Who You Really Are. Your soul has brought you to the words you are reading right now—as it has brought you to words of wisdom and truth before. What will you do now? What will you choose to be? Your soul waits, and watches with interest, as it has many times before.-CwG

I need to work on this: "that I was able to take my foot off my throat and let the connection between my mind and heart begin to change" -- beautifully said
