IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Happiness is an inside job.--unknown

Today I am grateful...
  • that the weird and bizarre difficulties I had at breakfast at Whataburger this morning was only a dream. Norris and JFK were there for emphasis.
  • for my good friend that will hold my hand today as I face my financial future
  • that my Thanksgiving plans are not settled and that is not unsettling
  • that a little bit of recognition goes a long way
  • for the chips I carry in my pocket
  • for the long conversation yesterday with sister So and the extreme laughter we got to share
  • that she and I are both pleased with our lives
  • that today there is no reason I cannot stand tall as I move through the world
  • for another recovering Houstonian starting his own blog--Emotional Sobriety. Go say "Hey!"

It's not the load that breaks you down; it's the way you carry it. --Lena Horne

You and I must be on the same page today, and it is a good one!

It was a dream in which I was at Whataburger, no one could get their food and Norris and JFK were both there. It was just one of those weird dreams right before you wake up. Haven't a clue what it means.

I am still laughing over the paper I can't get off my head! My husband said that if he didn't know better he would have sworn we had been sharing some "you know what" the way we were carrying on but we are the non smokers now!

It is indeed a gift of the program to be unsettled without it being unsettling.
