Today I am grateful...
- for two years of sobriety
- for morning meditations and prayer
- for the Dennis R yearly tradition that helps us stay sober
- for the haloed and winged Jack Russell terrier ornament Chase gave me
- for tears in gratitude
- to be able to lead the noon meeting on my birthday. There was a first-timer and I got to announce that Nov 18 was a good sobriety date if she wanted it. The meeting was inspiring, with lots of experience, strength and hope. And laughter. And she did pick up a desire chip.
- for the ton of cards, emails from all over the world and well wishes
- for the beautiful coin from Barbara C
- for the sobriety date sculpture Dave had made for me (see pic above)
- for the dinner party at Dennis and Richard's home. An intimate evening with close friends in recovery, excellent food and lots of laughter. Mr. Biggles even made a showing.
- that tonight wraps up the celebration officially, but I will carry it all through my third year
- to have my cup of grace overflowing

you gotr sober at a gay AA center on 11-18.
