"There is only one meaning of life: the act of living itself." --Erich Fromm

Today I am grateful...
  • for the next six days
  • that my internet connection seems back to normal, SBC is coming Monday anyway to check it out
  • for the 'aha' moment Thursday when I realized regarding the uncomfortable feelings I have had towards another: all I have to remember is that person's soul comes from the same origin as my soul. It is the disease, mine and theirs, that was making me uncomfortable.
  • that I am able to lead the Friday noon TGIF meetings this month, and yesterday's topic--tolerance
  • that the cardboard box made it into the National Toy Hall of Fame. Go visit and see some toys from your childhood including my favorite game below

There is so much good in the worst of us, and so much bad in the best of us, that it behooves all of us not to talk about the rest of us.--Robert Louis Stevenson

What is tolerance? -- it is the consequence of humanity. We are all formed of frailty and error; let us pardon reciprocally each other's folly -- that is the first law of nature.--Voltaire

I am going to be putting something in the mail for you today, which you should get within the next 6 days, if that gives you any kind of meaningful clue!
