IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Give freely…If after giving, you forget about it, then that gift grows fully. --Swami Muktananda

Today I am grateful...

  • that I can sit in solitude and that my mind is starting to enjoy it
  • that when you sit for meditation, whatever happens is meditation
  • that my mind is open to some change
  • that it's time to get the winter clothes out of storage
  • that Saturday is the end of daylight savings time and Sunday's dusk will fall early
  • for the opportunity for my soul to heal through the rest of my life
  • that trust and acceptance are the keys to happiness today

Although we have been made to believe that if we let go we will end up with nothing, life itself reveals again and again the opposite; that letting go is the path to real freedom. --Sogyai Rinpoche

meditation

The Eleventh Step asks us to meditate as a route to improving our conscious contact with God. Meditation is different than obsessing or worrying. Obsession and worrying are fear connections. Meditation means opening our mind and our spiritual energy to the God connection. -The Language of Letting Go

A MESSAGE TO EVERYONE....
The time change will totally fuck me up for about three weeks. I'm serious....I can't stand it. I don't like losing an hour of my life. It screws up my whole system. Damn it, I forgot about it Scott...thank you for reminding me. Love you bro more than you ever know.
Peace,
JJ
