IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Learn to enjoy little things; there are so many of them! --unknown

Today I am grateful...
  • that I awoke this morning. My brain is still foggy and a being a bit difficult. But I know it will relax and the fog will clear after I review my gratitude, pray and get moving through the day.
  • for unknown, he or she has said some great things
  • that I do not participate in 'high five' behavior
  • for last night's al fresco dinner at Cafe Adobe, it was delightfully cool
  • that we four old queens could give our waitress, who was new, a break. The service was awful and she was fairly uncaring in attitude, but what the hay?
  • for things done for me that I cannot do for myself
  • that I got to start 'Conversations with God' last night

In just two days, tomorrow will be yesterday. --unknown

It doesn't take a lot of effort to know the needs of another person. By helping others you are helping yourself. --unknown

I hung out with unknown for many years. He was nameless and faceless, but drank with gusto.

Now Unknown, Nameless,Faceless and Gusto have to have sex without us, too. How very sad.

Enjoy the big things, there are so few of them.~~~me

Some days being sober is being able to be gracious like you were with the new server. Isn't that cool.
