Today I am grateful...
- for Randall, who turns 48 today and has stood with me and by my side since we met on September 10, 1983
- that Ran and I have both survived our addictions
- that if you look hard enough you can find the joy written between the lines of pain
- that I miss the presence of Chester, and in missing him I find the joyous memories
- that today the pains of all the yesterdays are in the past
- for friends and loved ones like you, who sent their condolences along with their strength and hope, their courage and love, in comments here, telephone calls, emails and cards. I am in total gratitude to you all.

Happy Birthday to Randall. I know how very special he is. He is also someone I would want as a "phone a friend" if I were to ever be on Millionaire. He is one of those kind of ppl that knows a little bit about everything. I reckon since it's his b-day he can have several lobsters huh? LOL
