Woke up this morning feeling all spiritual and ready to write my gratitude list and then Blogger was down for maintenance. And I had a brainworm of Sheila E's "Glamorous Life" that wouldn't go away. Had coffee and a bagel and headed out for the 9:30 am meeting, where at 10:05 I got light headed so I sat outside the room and read an article from The Advocate about crystal meth addiction.

Today I am grateful...

• that I never tried crystal meth
• for the 9:25 - 10:05 pm conversation I had last night with a spiritual brother
• that as that conversation ended Jim called 'just because'
• that now that I have finished watching the first season of "Lost" Randall is loaning me the first season of "Desperate Housewives"
• to have heard a little lesbian tell her story last night and describe her family as a group of yippy yappy inbred poodles...I laughed very hard
• to have slept well last night and to get to nap this afternoon
