- that this morning's murder mystery dream was just that, a dream
- for NOAA and other weather sources that keep us updated on the approaching hurricane Rita
- that my mind has remained fairly calm thinking about preparations
- that last night I reread the 'list' in the 12 & 12 about the 5th step
- that my Higher Power watched over me from a dusty shelf for all those years
- that sister So is recovering nicely from her carotid artery replacement surgery
- that 'all this' is God, everything and nothing
- that if the weather predictions do not change, and if we have to leave, we have a warm and loving place to which to escape
