Yesterday

Schedule:

Get up 7:30 am
Pray
Grind beans, make coffee
Read meditations and drink two cups java
Read blogs, leave comments here and there
Post nAAked Thursday pic
Toasted bagel with veggie cream cheese
Shower
By bookkeeper's to pick up check copies for attorney
Hospital
Talk with nursing staff about Randall's release
Cell phone directions (several times) for Sharon and Steve to get to the hospital
Lunch with S and S in the cafeteria (yummy Chik-Fil-A sammich)
Cart Randall's tv and dvd player to the car
Pack up all his stuff
Take R home, get him settled
Drop off prescriptions at two pharmacies, the first did not have all the meds needed
Home to let Chester out
Check email and land line messages
Chat with Dave
Call to sponsee
Load chair into car to take to R's for extra seating
Important phone call from K in Ireland (work problem solved)
Meet Queen Noor to walk Sergio and Bailey in this dreaded heat which gave me serious vapors and wilted me
Call from other sponsee
Tickets to Delta Club round up Saturday for AA prison project fundraiser
Stop by Dave's smart town house
Walgreen's for prescription pick up (drive thru)
Other Walgreen's for prescription pick up (drive thru)
Phone call from Jim needing tea bags for iced tea for S and S
Walgreen's (inside) for tea bags, no luck
Kroger for tea bags, super crowded with after work crowd
Run into two Lambdettes outside, one hug
Deliver meds to R, take in chair, tea bags to J
Hang out in J's kitchen while he prepared home ground burgers with fixins
Eat dinner around the tv at R's
Clean up
Arrive exhausted back home at 8:30 pm
Give self haircut and cut my ear with scissors, bleed a lot
Shower
Read in bed
Say prayers
Snuggle with Chester
Fall asleep

That was a busy day. Wednesday's spiritual adventure served me well. I had no mental illness and got an answer after asking my Higher Power to be really specific in showing me what to do next. I had already done what I needed to do, I turned it over and let it go to the best of my ability.

All day I kept singing three lines in my head from the album I mentioned in 08.03.05 posting:

What a beautiful day you had!!!!

Before 6-25-1994 my days went like this VERY often in the summer of 1994:
Get up START DRINKING CHEAP Wine, smoke cigarettes, get drunk, think about me, feel sorry for me, manipulate people to feel sorry for me ,make drunk calls, pass out and get up start all over again. :>) What a beautiful day you had was all I could think.It is a honor to be your spiritual brother.
