Guilt is really the reverse side of the coin of pride. Guilt aims at self-destruction, and pride aims at the destruction of others. --Bill Wilson

Today I am grateful...
  • that as I begin and end this day I will have been given exactly what I need
  • that I am not of a competitive nature
  • for the mini meeting last night in the parking lot of the Fiesta grocery store
  • that peace can be found in the ebb and flow of life
  • to be included today in a knobby circle of reformed misfits
  • to let go of what it used to cost to be the old me

Dear God, Please keep your arm around my shoulder, but keep your hand over my mouth! --unknown
