IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Stay committed to your growth process until you wake up one morning and ask yourself, What is that strange thing I am feeling? Then know what the answer is. The answer is joy. --Melody Beattie

Today I am grateful...
  • that JJ is so happy with her new painting
  • for the decluttering I did yesterday on Casa de Scott y Chester
  • for dinner with recovery mates
  • for Lynette's story last night and the insight it gave me...
  • that I have experienced more conscious life in 21 months than in 21 years
  • for the talent and the balls and bananas in last night's talent show
  • to see the light shining through so many young people in recovery (and that I made it to an age that I can make reference to 'young people')
  • to work honestly at being a good person and the momentum it gives my recovery

Never assume you know who I am or what I'm doing, ask me a question instead. --Carol Neilson

Thanks again Scott and I love decluttering...seems like I've been doing it a lot lately.
Peace,

Melonie Beatie's book is totally awesome.

Joy is ours to have and keep most definitely.

Declutter from within
throw it in the bin
Declutter the brain
throw it down the drain

Toss the old behaviours
In favour of new saviours
Sobriety in all its forms
takes away all my storms
