In this moment I am grateful...
- for the recognition that this moment is all I have, that it is continuous
- that Chester seems to be healing from his spill and has returned to normal walking (or what is normal for an old man)
- to have been able to celebrate a dear old friend's birthday without any alcohol
- for friends and loved ones and those who are both
- that progressing through my program has freed up a lot of space that used to be filled with such darkness I couldn't see any way out
- that the light at the end of the tunnel isn't a train anymore
