12:34

I love it when I go for my second cup of coffee and the clock on the coffee maker reads 12:34. Since the coffee maker has a heating element and I am paranoid of keeping things like that plugged in all the time, the clock reads 12:00 when I plug it in. Often my second cup comes thirty-four minutes later.

When I was young we had these little digital clocks everywhere. Not the LCD kind, but the ones that have little cards that flip over as time goes by. Dad got them with a certain amount spent with a dental supplier. When the clock would read 12:34 we would say, 'It's twelve thirty-four, you don't see that everyday.' 'Yes, you do, twice if you look.' Mom got the joke, but she could never say it right.

Sometimes it's the little things...

How funny that you tell the clock story. To this day every time I see 12:34 on a digital clock I remember Dad saying that. I always say it in my head, don't bother to say it outloud since my kids think I am crazy anyway and my husband would just ignore it. But it does bring back fond memories

My clock skips twice each day. It goes from 12:33 to 12:35. Can't figure out why.
