Today I am grateful...

• to see daily man's humanity towards man in the rooms of AA
• for the privilege of hearing delicate Amber tell her story of immense strength
• to be able, more and more, to bend like the reed in the wind
• to add to my daily morning conversation with HP the request to live with honesty
• for the WE of the program, something I could not realize during my first time in the program
• to spend an hour on the phone yesterday with K, thirty minutes talking of business, thirty minutes talking of recovery
• for 5:00 fellowship at Starbuck's
• to have chatted with So last night and hope I was able to give some comfort and guidance as she struggles with a life problem
• for my prayer during the moment of silence before the Serenity Prayer: Thank you for the grace that brings me here, may it allow me to listen with open ears, mind and heart, and if called on to share may I do so honestly and without reserve
• for kindred spirits I have found through this internet connection
