Kevin is in the driveway detailing his car before his trip north to Milwaukee, I have been straightening and dusting and Chester has been very busy with the highly important task of going in and out the door hundreds of times. Lucy, the yellow Lab just came in for a visit, Enya is playing on the stereo and it's a lovely Saturday.
I found my missing tripod, over which I was much distressed at not being able to find. I had stashed it behind two keyboard boxes in the closet shelf. Why I put it behind those boxes is a mystery to me.
Don and Mary just got back with tons of bird feed and they are busy putting it into the aluminum cans for storage. Mary loves her birds and squirrels. And her Don. And Lucy. And Biscuit, Chloe and Baby Girl.
Yesterday I bought a rechargeable massager at Radio Shack to relieve the holdiay shoulders I have had since the holidays, but after charging it like directed it fails to properly massage. So it is going back. And my new cell phone battery is not keeping its charge, so I have to go to Cingular to get it replaced. Minor disturbances, very minor.
Later this afternoon I will take a luxurious nap. Tonight I will go to Lambda to hear someone's story at Saturday Night Live.
I am so enjoying this day. No hangover, no unfinished business that's pressing and no resentments. It's a good place for this alcoholic to be.
