Chester T. Boogerhead Jones
My cute Boogerhead asleep in the bed.
Chester turned 15 on December 1st. As a feisty young Jack Russell Terrier pup he drove me crazy and chewed everything in site. It was a bit of hell for the first year and a half, but it was so worth it. He has been with me through thick and thin. He graciously endured my drunken life and I am extremely grateful to still have him with me. He sleeps a lot these days and is blind from macular degeneration. That doesn't stop him from wandering around from time to time, banging into everything until he finds his way back to the front door or to his food and water or his day bed. He now sleeps with me in my bed, under the covers and I feel the most comfortable I have ever felt when I fall asleep with my arm around him. He is my best buddy.

you should paint a picture with him in it
Bess e' heart. I had the pleasure of keeping Chester for a short stint while So was living in LA until he (wisely) decided Houston was much better for him. My son Ryan, spoiled him unbeknownst to me, by feeding him from the table, a habit that Chester still has. He kept my Boxer Jack company and I have many pictures of them playing or sleeping together. My favorite thing he used to do was the "Chester Dance" as Ryan and I called it. He would get on his back legs and thrust his front legs as though to ask for something.....just too cute.
