Today I am grateful...

• that today I have been sober for 14 months (427 days)...yeah me!
• that I never thought AA would work for me in the way it has and I was proved wrong
• to have seen in another (KCK) that honesty in sobriety delivers the promises
• that today I have some mental health and can release a friend to his new life in a new place
• that getting sober did not destroy my sense of humor
• for Amber's lead in the eight step meeting yesterday
• that my sponsor did not insist that I take my time doing the twelve steps
• that AA does not require a uniform
• that I have been taught to never underestimate the impossible
• that I still have faith in the human spirit despite yesterday's rant
