IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Today I am grateful...

  • to wake with a prayers for continued sobriety and growth and that this sore throat isn't strep
  • for sauteed scallops, asparagus with Hollandaise and rice pilaf
  • that I got the second rebate check yesterday from the computer purchase I made in October, rebate checks are notorious for not showing up
  • lol, how can a check be notorious? It was the best I could do at the moment
  • for _________________ (fill in the blank with something for which you are grateful) and post it to a comment, which you can do anonymously, just give me a hint who you are
  • to have heard John A's story yesterday, he presented a great picture of the grief and total lonliness of our disease

Why were these lyrics in my mind when I woke up this morning?
People are strange when you are a stranger
Faces seem ugly when you're alone...

I am grateful for the Amazing Grace that seems to be gently nudging me along the road less travelled. My stumbling onto your blog is surely part of that. Thank you!
