Today I am grateful...

• to have heard from Sarah in Boston that she and Khanh are engaged and that Texas (or Tex for short) the Westie is doing well despite anal sac troubles--don't ask
• that Mary has invited her father to spend Christmas with her
• that I have never had the desire to gamble
• that Facial sold his house in LA without having to use a realtor
• that since this lifetime is one of relearning I do not have the responsibility of raising a family. I am enough to take care of this time around.
• that I am learning how to take care of myself without being selfish, unless it means protecting my sobriety
• to have the realization eleven months ago that my sobriety comes before anything
• that sometimes things just shift of their own accord
• to awake this morning more clear headed than usual
• that hopefully I will have time today to get to Discount Tire
