Today I am grateful...

• for the Friday Night Gang plus three that celebrated the season at Mo Mong
• that since I now can move through the world with greater ease, I no longer shy away from saying hello to people I know
• that I was not the person who was asleep underneath a van when it took off
• for the luxury of sleeping late on a Saturday
• that change can equal progress
• that if I disparage someone or criticize them I am doing so to the creative force behind them
• that I have now until bedtime to spend as I may; I can make it constructive, frivilous, quiet, reflective or whatever suits my fancy as long as I do not compromise my sobriety
