- that it has been a week already since I started this blog and I am really getting to like it, the writing is freeing and learning the tricks has been entertaining--if not sometimes a bit frustrating
- that some sweet soul brought Reece's Peanut Butter Cups last night
- to get my smart town apartment cleaned up
- to have run into Sunshine at Marshall's and then hang out at the coffee bar with him tonight
- to have a computer, telephones, tvs, stereo, electric lights, microwave, refridgerator and washer/dryer all at my fingertips...also books, art supplies, plenty of clothes and shoes, comfortable furniture and the companionship of a dog
- that they gray person I used to be now only manifests itself in my hair color
- that Jean got DSL and can now view this page
Yesterday decided to get out of the house early, get on with my errands and pull myself out of the extreme sleepiness. The weather was coolish and sunny and my head cleared up quickly. At Texas Art Supply I spied the cutest young man I have seen in months. Resisted the urge to stalk him and went on about my business. I love shopping there, never a derth of cuteness. More errands and back home for some lunch. Primed the canvas for Jim's painting and cleaned the cobwebs out of the corners. Got rid of some piles of paper and was just real proud of myself...lol.
Last night manned the membership table at Lambda with Dave and Joey. Someone had made a sign 'If your a member it's free', referring to the new tee shirts. I have this really HUGE character defect that makes me crazy when the use of your and you're are bastardized. Can't help it, and it's just one of many. So, of course I had Dave scrounge up a red pen and I added the 'e' and the apostrophe to change your to you're. So, being satisfied with my anal self we went on to sign up three new members and no one got hurt. Sonny is really a gem and I much enjoyed hanging out at the coffee bar with him. Told him we would do tee shirts with his mug on them for his 25th anniversary, three years from now.
Just chatted with Face, he has bought a condo in Chicago and will be moving out of the hateful city of Los Angeles--finally. He got a place in a newly constructed building two blocks from the lake and with lake views, fifth floor.

I am personally thrilled that you now have a site meter. I WILL sleep better in the morning. I also know what you really need for a Christmas present.
