The Atacama Desert in Chile, the driest place on Earth
Today I am grateful...
- that I don't have to be pious to convince myself
- that my Higher Power will show me all I need to know today
- for a long walk at dawn on a cool May morning with low humidity while listening to Ravi Shankar
- to have survived a frustrating situation by knowing it would eventually pass
- to have received an email from someone I knew in college who found me by researching a recipe from the Ninth Street House where I was a waiter in 1975

Tolerance -- yes!!
That's the word I was looking for in trying to describe my attitude towards those whose opinions I don't agree with, but I also can't afford to form a resentment against.
Are you sure about the Atacama Desert being the driest? I have been to places where it was really really difficult to find a beer.

Yeah, I agree with Boston B, dAAve is sooo crazy but he make me laugh! One thing though, I don't want to get lost in Atacama Desert! That's where I left tolerance but he kept coming back now and again. Shessh!
Like you, I know my difficulties will pass also....I learned that in the fellowship from you guys, and the ones before you, and the ones before them. I'm glad that the good stuff keeps getting passed on!
