IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Today I am grateful...
  • for an increasing circle of recovery friends, some of whom I have never met, but am connected to through the internet
  • that I can love another alcoholic simply because we share the same struggles
  • for the therapy of writing and maintaining this blog
  • for my desire to become a non-smoker, it's the first step for me
  • to be able to hang out with Mary and Jean as we put the finishing touches on Mary's new office
  • for the continued desire to stay sober and live a life of purpose
  • for daily prayers that I may be able to turn it over and let it go
  • for mute buttons to avoid sensational journalism
  • that last Thursday was the 70th anniversary of Alcoholics Anonymous

What a great way to start a Monday morning, with such an inspired gratitude list.

Thank you for sharing it.

Yeah, good list. I need some gratitude today. Am laying out today trying to give my body a chance to beat a cough. Gotta focus on something positive. Easy in this shape to start thinking of all the things I need to do but haven't.
